Marketing Assistant Position (Co-op)

We’re a university-based startup helping students with all things finances. We focus on securing grant/scholarship/bursary funding, then guide them with saving, budgeting, taxes, and planning for the future!
The Role
As a Marketing Assistant, you’ll help grow our brand by:
Planning and promoting student events and campaigns
Creating content for social media, newsletters, and digital marketing
Tracking metrics and managing shared resources
Bringing creative ideas to boost engagement and visibility

Full-time positions upon graduation: The student financial advisor position is designed to act as a stepping stone towards a full-time financial planning position upon graduation.
Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary co-op program – Ideally in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities – You enjoy managing to-do lists and seeing things through.
Creative mindset – You like brainstorming new ways to get people interested and involved.
Comfortable using social media platforms and productivity tools – Tools like Google Suite, Canva, and others are part of your day-to-day.
Clear communicator – You’re confident in both written and verbal communication.
Excited to be part of a fast-moving, collaborative team – You’re adaptable and enjoy working with others to make things happen.
Experience in event planning, student leadership, or digital content creation is a bonus, but not required.
Compensation:
$20 per hour. After a successful co-op/contract term, employees are invited to continue full-time to receive a salary!
