Hi! My name is Zach, and I’m the founder of Hi Finance. After graduating with my finance degree, I started my career in high finance, where I managed investments for high-net-worth clients and even built tools that are still being used by hundreds of financial planners today. I learned a lot during that time and was honoured to receive a Top Talent Award as one of the bank’s best new hires.

But as much as I enjoyed the work, I couldn’t shake the feeling that good financial advice was only reaching the ultra-wealthy. That’s what pushed me to start Hi Finance—to build a fee-only financial planning service designed specifically for students. Since then, we’ve been able to help thousands of students earn hundreds of thousands in grant funding, save smarter, and feel more confident about their money.

When I’m not working, you can usually find me rock climbing, volunteering with the Campus Food Bank, or hanging out with my puppy (who, in my completely unbiased opinion, is the cutest dog in the world).
